Information for Registrants

Conference registration can be found online via the Conference Ex Ordo site.

Full conference registration includes attendance for all days of the scientific program (Monday, August 5, 2019 through Friday, August 9, 2019). Single day registrations are available for those who cannot attend the entire event.

Unlike previous conferences, the 2019 event has been designed to be all-inclusive, based on conference registration and lodging at Granlibakken Resort. This means, with registration, full breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are provided for all registrants on all registered days (beginning on dinner Sunday August 4 and ending with Lunch Fri August 9). Registration also provides attendance (and inclusive of meals and beer/wine for defined periods) for the Ice Breaker event (Sunday August 4), the WDA Auction (Tuesday August 6), and the WDA Banquet (Thursday August 8).

As the 2019 WDA conference is all-inclusive based on staying at Granlibakken Resort, we encourage everyone to stay on grounds. A variety of housing options - ranging from student dorms to deluxe lodging - has been reserved, and a portion of your conference registration fee will go towards reducing this cost as much as possible. However, for conference registrants that choose to stay off site, all meals will still be provided (and attendance to social events included), but an additional "Resort Fee" will be charged by Granlibakken.

For conference attendees traveling with guests, if lodging is being provided by Granlibakken Resort, all meals and attendance to social events and activities are included in the lodging rate. For off-site guests, the "Resort Fee" costs above will apply.

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your registration on or before June 15 (the final day of the Early Registration period) you will be refunded all Conference Registration and Workshop charges less a USD $25.00 cancellation fee.

If you choose to cancel your registration after June 15 and before or on August 1, you will be refunded 20% of your conference registration and workshop charges.

Conference Registration and Workshop charges cannot be refunded after August 1.

At any time, a registrant may choose to transfer their registration to another person for a USD $25 transfer fee.
